The Clara Hotel is scheduled to open in Q2 2026 at 8201 Preston Rd, Plano, Texas, following an extensive renovation and brand transformation by NewcrestImage.
The Clara Hotel, located at 8201 Preston Rd in Plano, Texas, is set to open in Q2 2026 after a comprehensive renovation and brand transformation. Previously operated as a NYLO hotel, the property was acquired by NewcrestImage in August 2025. The company is overseeing the redesign and repositioning of the hotel, which will remain affiliated with Hilton’s Tapestry Collection.
The renovated property will feature 176 guest rooms, including eight suites categorized as Junior Suites, One-Bedroom Suites, and Presidential Suites. Updates include redesigned guest rooms and public spaces with new materials, finishes, and color palettes.
The Clara Hotel will introduce two new hospitality concepts: Field & Vine, the hotel’s restaurant, and The Library, which will serve as a daytime lounge and a reservation-only speakeasy on Thursday through Saturday evenings. The Library replaces a previously multifunctional gathering space.
Outdoor amenities include a heated pool and a 4,000-square-foot courtyard, which is being updated with new landscaping, turf, and flexible seating to accommodate events and gatherings for up to 300 guests.
Indoor meeting facilities will include a 792-square-foot meeting room with a capacity of up to 50 people, a 598-square-foot meeting room with a capacity of up to 30 people, and two boardrooms accommodating 10 and 4 guests, respectively.
The property is located in Plano’s Legacy corridor near the border with Frisco, close to retail, dining, and entertainment options in both communities.
