The Irresistible Easter Candy Everyone Wants This Year, According to Data

13 March 20263 Mins Read

Pastel baskets, plastic eggs and chocolate bunnies are all part of the Easter tradition. But every year, one sweet treat rises above the rest and becomes the candy everyone seems to be reaching for.

New data from DoorDash reveals exactly what people ordered the most during the 2025 Easter season, offering a surprisingly fun snapshot of how Americans celebrate the spring holiday. From basket stuffers to egg hunt essentials, the numbers show that people still love classic Easter candy—especially treats that are easy to share and snack on.

The Easter Candy That Topped the List

DoorDash’s 2025 report found that Reese’s Pieces carrot gift bags were the most-ordered Easter candy across the country. The festive packaging—a plastic carrot filled with peanut butter candies—makes it a natural pick for egg hunts and Easter baskets.

The combination of chocolate and peanut butter also plays a big role. According to the data, the same flavor pairing that dominates Halloween candy remains a major favorite in spring.

Other popular sweets also made the list of the top 10 Easter candies, including:

  • Palmer Double Crisp Lil’ Crispy Bunny
  • M&M’s Easter Bunny Cane
  • Lindt Gold Bunny
  • Hershey’s Hershey-ets Easter Candy

The carrot-shaped Reese’s Pieces bags, in particular, are a popular basket stuffer because they’re small, colorful, and easy to share. The 2.2-ounce versions typically sell for around $2.50 to $3 at major retailers.

Easter Trends Show Families Going All-In on Spring Fun

DoorDash’s data also showed a significant spike in purchases for DIY Easter baskets and spring activities. Orders for storage baskets jumped 440 percent, while chalk rose 360 percent, food coloring climbed 220 percent and arts and crafts supplies increased 70 percent.

Classic marshmallow chicks from Peeps also remained a staple. Yellow remained the most popular color, while blue emerged as a fast-growing pastel favorite.

Brunch remained another big part of the holiday. Deliveries of dishes like croque monsieur jumped 210 percent, while eggs Benedict and deviled eggs both rose 60 percent.

Still, candy remains the heart of the holiday. And according to the data, those bright carrot-shaped bags of peanut butter candies are landing in Easter baskets more than any other treat this year.

Luckily, they’re easy to find at stores like Target, Walmart, Dollar General and CVS—which means grabbing one for your Easter basket should be pretty simple.
