The Livingston, a 104-room hotel under the JdV by Hyatt brand, has opened at 291 Livingston St. as the first Hyatt-branded property in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Livingston is a 22-story, 104-room hotel located at 291 Livingston St. in Brooklyn, N.Y. The property includes 15 rooms with balconies, a full-service restaurant called The Grove Lantern, a lobby café named Goldfinch Café, and an 820-square-foot rooftop terrace. The hotel is pet-friendly and offers amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, spa-like bathrooms, 55-inch TVs, in-room safes, mini fridges, coffee makers, desks, and lounge chairs. The hotel features art installations by local creators and is developed by Midas Hospitality and ACRES Capital as part of the JdV by Hyatt brand.

Location

The Livingston is situated in the heart of Brooklyn’s cultural district, near the Barclays Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), and the Brooklyn Museum. The hotel is also close to theaters, art galleries, live music venues, and multiple subway stations, providing access to Manhattan and other parts of New York City.

Development

The project was developed by Midas Hospitality and ACRES Capital. The Livingston is part of the JdV by Hyatt brand and offers a range of amenities. The hotel’s guest rooms and suites feature a modern-industrial design and include complimentary Wi-Fi, spa-like bathrooms with white marble showers, 55-inch TVs, in-room safes, mini fridges, coffee makers, desks, and lounge chairs. The hotel’s dining options include The Grove Lantern, a full-service restaurant serving locally inspired cuisine, and Goldfinch Café in the lobby, which offers espresso beverages and pastries from nearby bakeries.
