The Royal Canadian Circus arrives in Metro Vancouver this week with ‘world-class acrobats’

4 May 20263 Mins Read

The Royal Canadian Circus is back in town this week, and their newest show is not one to be missed. Complete with world-class acrobats, gravity-defying acts, illusionists, comedic performers, and high-energy motorcycle stunts, the spectacular production will immerse you in artistry from every angle.

The all-new production celebrates the circus’s 52nd year and will tour 12 cities across the country. From May 7 to 10, the show will light up the stage at Richmond’s Lansdowne Centre.

“Each year, the Royal Canadian Circus brings the magic of the Big Top to audiences of all ages,” shares Ringmaster Joseph Bauer. “It’s about more than entertainment, it’s about creating shared experiences of wonder, connection and joy that leave lasting memories.”

Dramatic lighting and immersive sound will surround the stage, with eye-catching visuals visible from anywhere audience members sit.

After its first stop in Richmond, the Royal Canadian Circus will pack up and take its newest dynamic show to Kamloops (May 14 to 18), Calgary (May 22-31), and Edmonton (June 5-14), eventually making it to Burlington for its final stop in September.

Specific acts you can look forward to seeing at the show include world-class Mongolian acrobats, flying trapeze artists, unicycle performers, Hula-Hoop artistry, and high-energy motorcycle stunts, just to name a few.

At each Canadian venue, outdoor spaces will transform into immersive experiences under the circus’s signature Big Top Tent, creating a fun, grandiose atmosphere as soon as audiences arrive.

There will also be a pre-show experience featuring a full range of concessions, face painting, photo ops, and activations for all ages.

Produced alongside live-entertainment discovery platform, Fever, the production is committed to animal-free, multi-generational entertainment.
