The top summer festivals to check out in Toronto this July

Summer festivals are officially here, Toronto! The streets are about to come alive with the best entertainment, music, and a whole lot of food. We go to these outdoor festivals every single year, but sometimes there’s SO much going on, we can lose track. That’s why I’ve put together a little list of festivals that might help organize your month.

From popular street festivals to outdoor parties, here’s a taste of what’s going on in Toronto this month.

Must-Attend Toronto Summer Festivals this July

  • Toronto Fringe Festival – July 2 to 13, 2025
    • This is Ontario’s largest performing arts festival and a platform for theatre and performance.
  • Taste of Lawrence – July 4 to 6, 2025
    • Returning for its 21st edition, the three-day summer event is Scarborough’s largest street festival with food vendors, midway rides, live music and more.
  • Fun Philippines – July 4 to 6, 2025
    • A three-day Filipino festival all about food and music is coming to Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre. Get ready to celebrate the beautiful culture of the Philippines for an entire weekend.
  • Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside – July 4 to 6, 2025
    • Live music, food trucks, and outdoor vendors at Jimmie Simpson Park.
  • Taste of the Middle East – July 4 to 6, 2025
    • Experience and celebrate Arabic music, art and culture at Nathan Phillips Square
  • Salsa on St Clair – July 5 and 6, 2025
    • St. Clair Avenue West between Winona Drive and Christie Street, the festival promises a weekend of non-stop dancing, sensational Latin music, and mouthwatering cuisine.
  • TD Salsa on the Beach – July 11 to 13, 2025
    • Woodbine Park will transform into a dance floor featuring the energetic Latin sounds of Salsa, Merengue and Cumbia.
  • Toronto Outdoor Art Fair – July 11 to 13, 2025
    • Marking its 64th year, the TOAF brings over 400 independent artists who are ready to show off their works
  • Chariot Fest – July 12 and 13, 2025
    • Previously known as the Festival of India Toronto, the festival starts with a parade down Yonge St., followed by weekend celebrations at Toronto Centre Island.
  • Pan-American Food and Music Festival – July 18 to 20, 2025
    • Canada’s largest annual festival celebrating the rich diversity of cuisine, music, and art in the Western Hemisphere. And it’s free to attend.
  • TD Weekend at Woodbine Park – July 18 to 20, 2025
    • Join in on all the fun at Woodbine Park! Expect musical acts, food trucks, vendors, a beer garden, and more.
  • Big on Bloor – July 19 and 20, 2025
    • The festival will feature outdoor murals, window displays, and public installations and much more.
  • BrazilFest – July 19 and 20, 2025
    • Canada’s largest Brazilian festival is set to bring vibrant energy to a popular Toronto neighbourhood for an entire weekend of music, food, and celebration.
  • Festival of South Asia – July 19 and 20, 2025
    • Don’t miss out on the Gerrard India Bazaar to enjoy the food, drinks, entertainment, and celebration.
  • Taste of Vietnam – July 24 to 26, 2025
    • Experience the beauty of Vietnamese culture through the latest fashion, crafted cuisine and music.
  • AlohaFest – July 26, 2025
    • Enjoy the wonders of Polynesian culture, art and dance at AlohaFest
  • OssFest – July 26, 2025
    • Now in its seventh year, OssFest takes over the Ossington Strip with a full day of health and wellness programming, local vendors, extended patios, and live entertainment from morning to night.
  • Toronto Caribbean Carnival – July 31 to Aug. 4, 2025
