Did you hear, Toronto?

Kehlani is coming to Toronto this summer

“Folded” is on REPEAT in my car, so when I heard Kehlani is bringing her tour to Toronto, I had to let the girls know! So, the Kehlani World Tour is coming to the RBC Amphitheatre on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026.

Presales kick off on Wednesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. with general sale on Friday, May 29.

Summer is about to be a busy one in Toronto.

Get free ice cream at Scooped by Demetres

The weather is going to be nice and right for this one. On Saturday, May 30, 2026, all Scooped by Demetres locations across the GTA will serve up free ice cream to the first 100 guests. They are celebrating their fifth anniversary the right way.

You can find them at:

  • Distillery District, 46 Gristmill Lane
  • CityPlace, 113 Fort York Blvd.
  • Waterworks Food Hall, 50 Brant St.
  • Square One, 100 City Centre Dr.
  • Scarborough Town Centre, 300 Borough Dr.

Diet Coke slushies are a must this summer

You don’t need that Ninja SLUSHi machine — which is what I tell myself whenever I crave a slushy.

Good thing I can just go to Hank’s Slushy Bar at the back of ARMEDJewelry on Dundas West. They’re serving up viral frozen drinks like Diet Coke slushies, piña coladas, strawberry lemonade, and rotating flavours like matcha pistachio — because why not.

Prices range from around $3.75 to $7, and you can grab one seven days a week at 903 Dundas St. W.

Toronto’s getting Canada’s first-ever floating futsal pitch

Toronto is feeling the soccer fever. So, of course, that means there’s a soccer takeover all over the city, including the water. Canada’s first-ever floating futsal pitch is coming to the Harbourfront. From June 11 to July 19, Sport Chek Harbourfront FC will offer a free, fully interactive soccer experience, along with the nearly 130 ft. floating futsal pitch.

It’s a fan experience you don’t want to miss out on. Expect retail pop-ups, interactive programming, and immersive fan experiences. And if you wanted to play on the pitch, it’s available to be booked and on a first-come, open play basis.

Viral dot cakes are in Toronto, and I need them all

Forget travelling to NYC for them, you can get dot cakes in Toronto. You’ve most definitely seen them on TikTok, but all it is is a cake in a cup, with a thick layer of frosting and sprinkles.

Though you could probably make them at home, if you want to support local, Short and Sweet cupcakes make them in a ton of flavours: vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, along with two features: carrot and Oreo.
