You will be expected to:
- Analyze and track data, run tests and evaluations, and identify ways to enhance the safety, efficiency, and productivity of the TTC’s SCADA and control systems.
- Help with the day-to-day operation of systems — such as adding or removing points, updating graphics, adjusting settings, and managing user accounts and profiles.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop material lists, technical specifications, standards, and procedures for control systems.
- Be capable of communicating effectively using different tools and platforms.

Fare Inspector
Salary: $34.37-$42.97 per hour

General Painter
Salary: $44.94 per hour plus a $1.75 per hour skilled trade premium for all regular hours worked
Who Should Apply: You should apply if you have at least three-and-a-half years of painting experience, including a minimum of one year as a painter’s improver.
You will be expected to:
- Prepare and apply paint, wall coverings, and other finishes to various interior and exterior surfaces using techniques like scraping, sanding, brushing, and spraying.
- Perform glazing work on windows and skylights and produce engraved signage.
- Operate a TTC vehicle to transport crew and equipment to job sites and use a forklift to load and unload materials.
- Set up and operate computerized engraving and bevelling machines to produce signs and may also install completed signs.

Track Maintainer Trainee
Salary: $26.74-$34.72 per hour
Who Should Apply: You should apply for this role if you want to become a fully-trained track maintainer.
You will be expected to:
- Align the track and ensure the correct gap for thermite welding.
- Assemble switches and turnouts or rebuild them using new parts when needed.
- Operate and service different types of electrical and pneumatic equipment.
- Start, operate, shut down, and perform minor maintenance on machinery, tools or related accessories.
Note: All work is carried out under the supervision of streetcar way maintenance staff.

- At least one month of experience as a track worker.
- Completed Grade 10 or an equivalent level of education.

Successful candidates will be classed as track maintainer trainees for a period of nine months, during which they will receive training. Upon successful completion of classroom and on-the-job training, they will be promoted to track maintainers.
