The 30-room hotel operates as The Venice Times, Vignette Collection, in Venice’s Cannaregio neighborhood. The property is Pacini Group’s second with IHG Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel is near the Casino, Ca’ d’Oro and the Grand Canal. Teatro La Fenice and the Rialto Bridge are a 15-minute walk away. Venice Santa Lucia Train Station is 200 meters from the hotel on foot, while Marco Polo Airport is a 20-minute shuttle away.
Artworks are displayed throughout the hotel, including its 30 rooms. The property also includes the Manuzio Lounge, which serves signature cocktails and cicchetti, a Venetian snack. The lounge includes a secret garden.
The hotel’s guest programming includes a moveable-type kit in the lobby for creating personalized postcards. The activity is inspired by Aldo Manuzio, a former resident and Italian Renaissance printer. The hotel also plans one-off events with local artisans, including mask-making activities and photography tours.
The Venice Times supports the restoration of the Naval History Museum of Venice through Italy’s Art Bonus program. The initiative is part of the Means For Good program used across Vignette Collection properties.
The Venice Times joins a portfolio of more than 34 Vignette Collection hotels in 17 countries.
