The Westin Sacramento Riverfront Hotel & Spa has announced its new name and revealed a multi-million dollar renovation. The upgrade includes all 101 guestrooms and suites, the lobby, the check-in area, and meeting and event spaces. In early spring 2025, the hotel will also introduce a private marina for guests to host events. The property is owned by Monarch Alternative Capital and operated by HHM Hotels.
General Manager Ryan Opatz expressed excitement about the renovation, stating it would enhance the guest experience. The designs aim to capture the essence of the Sacramento River and the surrounding landscape. The lobby decor includes textured limestone, terrazzo, and white oak wood tones, accented by sage and blush-colored upholstery fabrics.
The hotel offers guests three refreshment options, including unlimited wine on tap from neighboring wineries in Clarksburg and Napa Valley, a cozy latte and pastry bar, and the Westin WELL, a marble structure that offers alkaline, still, or sparkling water for guests.
The remodeled guestrooms and suites feature marble counters, spacious claw-foot bathtubs, separate showers, and bath amenities from White Tea. Each room also includes a large flat-screen TV, a pull-out sofa in select rooms, a marbled work table, a mini refrigerator, a coffee machine, room service and a microwave upon request.
Scott’s Seafood on the River, located within the hotel, is one of Sacramento’s best seafood restaurants. It serves fresh, sustainably harvested seafood and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekend.
The hotel’s event spaces accommodate up to 380 guests, making it suitable for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Guests and locals can also visit the award-winning onsite spa, Spa La Lé, and the replenished fitness center.
The Westin Sacramento Riverfront Hotel & Spa is conveniently located at 4800 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, California.
