The luxurious Swiss hotel, The Woodward, will become part of the Auberge Resorts Collection starting February 1, 2025. This marks the first Swiss property in Auberge’s portfolio. The Woodward, known for its opulent suites and two-Michelin star restaurant, is managed by The Bastion Collection and is located on Geneva’s waterfront.
Christian Clerc, the President and CEO of Auberge Resorts Collection, expressed his enthusiasm for adding The Woodward to their collection. Clerc, a Swiss national, said the inclusion of the Geneva hotel was especially meaningful to him.
The Woodward is renowned for its prime Lake Geneva location and luxurious suites. The hotel features two floors dedicated to the Guerlain Spa and wellness, and includes 26 unique suites, most of which provide panoramic views of the lake and mountains. In addition to the spa, the hotel houses several dining venues, including Geneva’s only two-Michelin star restaurant, L’Atelier Robuchon.
The hotel’s architecture blends the grandeur of the post-Haussmann style with the tranquility of prestigious residential living. The suites are designed to reflect the sublime natural beauty of the surrounding area and feature luxurious accents like marble fireplaces and handmade wallpaper.
The Woodward also offers award-winning dining experiences. Its restaurants, a part of The Bastion Collection, have collectively earned 10 Michelin Stars since 2019. These include the two-Michelin star L’Atelier Robuchon and Le Jardinier, as well as the piano and cocktail lounge, Bar 37.
The Woodward also provides an array of wellness facilities. It has dedicated two entire floors to wellness, centered around The Guerlain Spa. The hotel also offers a 21-meter indoor swimming pool, Geneva’s longest, and a comprehensive fitness center.
The Woodward provides a variety of unique experiences, from culinary adventures to cultural immersion. Guests can enjoy lake activities, wine tasting, watchmaking masterclasses, and personalized fragrance creation. The hotel can also be reserved for special private events.
