The Improv Centre is an improv comedy club on Granville Island. It has comedy shows year-round including Valentine’s Day-themed ones in February.

Every year there are special performances at the theatre around February 14th. The shows are always a little different as well as both funny and lots of fun!

Valentine’s Day Comedy at The Improv Centre

The Improv Centre offers live entertainment year-round at 1502 Duranleau Street near the entrance to Granville Island.

In 2026 there are three special shows around Valentine’s Day. There is Gal-entine’s Day on February 12th and My Funny Valentines Show on February 14th. There’s also Single, Not Single shows on Fridays and Saturdays between February 6th and 28th.

Single, Not Single

Single, Not Single shows on Fridays and Saturdays from February 6th to 28th in 2026. The show is all about the rocky ups and downs of relationships, as well as the ups and downs of single life. All of the Friday and Saturday shows kick off at 9:30 pm. General admission tickets start at about $31.50 each.

Gal-entine’s Day

This is a one-time show that takes place a couple of days before Valentine’s Day in 2026. Gal-entine’s Day features a night of comedy with an all-woman cast. Themes include love and friendship. The show starts at 7:30 pm on Thursday, February 12th. General admission costs as low as $20 per person.

My Funny Valentines Show

My Funny Valentines Show takes place on Valentine’s Day in 2026, so on Saturday, February 14th. There are two showings on the same day. The first is at 7:30 pm and the second is at 9:30 pm. The performances involve the audience and feature flirty, funny, sweet and spicy scenes. General admission to each show costs $31.50 or more.

TIP #1: Parking at Granville Island is metered from around 9:00 am to 10:00 pm every day.

TIP #2: Every show at The Improv Centre is different. Even if you attend a performance with the identical theme more than once, it’ll still be different. The actors aren’t always the same, the suggestions from the audience vary and the scenarios change. That’s what’s so great about improv theatre! You never know what you’re going to get!
