13 March 20252 Mins Read

Whether your hero wears a cape or head-to-toe spandex (or both), you can probably find them at this comic event coming to Calgary this weekend! Shop your favourite comic books and get your fill of all things superhero at the annual Comic Book Show.

The best part? It’s completely free to attend!

No need to mask your inner nerd here. The event will have door prizes, tons of vendors, and lots of merch to browse and shop. This free event in SE Calgary is for comic book lovers of all ages, so bring the whole family if you have this hobby in common.

While there are many pop culture shows that come to Calgary, the event website specifies that this is a “pure” comic book show. So rather than movies or TV shows, this one is for the comic book fans in the city!

There will be over 20 different comic book vendors bringing their best boxes of books for you to dig through.

Come down to the Millican Ogden Community Association and browse everything from newer releases to vintage titles. You might even happen across some rare finds.

It’s every nerd’s ultimate treasure hunt!

Calgary Comic Book Show

When: Saturday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Millican Ogden Community Association, 2110 69 Ave. SE, Calgary
