For fans of creatures that slither and hiss, there’s a massive reptile expo coming to Calgary this month, and it looks wild!
Prepare yourself for a weekend packed with mesmerizing reptiles and exotic plants from faraway lands.
The expo will feature exhibits, vendors, prizes, giveaways, and more. Whether you’re a proud scaly pet parent or just curious to learn more, this is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.

What To Expect
Reptiles
Discover and learn about a huge variety of different reptiles from around the world. Experts and breeders will be on-site to share their knowledge and passion about everything from hulking snakes to colourful geckos.
Plants
Browse through a veritable oasis of plants with a rare and exotic showcase. Whether you’re a veteran green thumb or looking for something to add to your terrarium, you’ll have a hard time leaving empty-handed after passing through the lush displays.
Vendors
Of course, it wouldn’t be an expo without some prime shopping. Peruse unique reptile supplies, specialized enclosures, and a variety of plants to enhance your collection. If you’re stuck on a purchase, you can even get advice from the on-site experts.
Interactive Booths
Learn everything you need to know about responsible pet ownership and habitat conservation, along with the nitty-gritty of reptile and plant care. One booth even has an animatronic Dinosaur to play with.
Activities
