There’s a morning Pilates experience in Toronto inside a museum

23 February 20262 Mins Read

What comes to mind when you think of museums and yoga? Peace and quiet? We’d definitely say so! There’s a new Pilates experience in Toronto, and it’s all going down inside MOCA Toronto.

MOCA Movement: Pilates in the Museum is the newest addition to the museum’s list of activities. Neighbourhood partner Mosaic Yoga will offer the experience on March 8, 2026.

This is your chance to join a guided Pilates session within MOCA’s current exhibition, Jeff Wall Photographs 1984–2023.

“Step beyond the studio and explore how movement and art can intersect in new ways,” shares MOCA Toronto on its website.

“Rediscover your internal framework of strong, balanced core support. These classes riff off the classical principles developed by Joseph Pilates with a modern, innovative twist. Expect the unexpected!”

The best part about this is that no experience is needed. All you have to do is bring your A game and enjoy a morning surrounded by art.

What to bring

In order to participate, you have to bring your own yoga mat. A sealable water bottle is recommended, too.

Doors will open at 8:45 a.m., and participants are encouraged to arrive early to get settled and change if needed.

Tickets can be purchased online, which cover the Mosaic Yoga experience and museum admission.

MOCA Members can get their hands on discounted tickets using the promo code provided in the most recent What’s On at MOCA member newsletter.

And if you loved the class, Mosaic Yoga is located around the corner from the museum, at 225 Sterling Rd. Maybe it can now be part of your weekend routine.

Don’t miss out on a peaceful morning experience in the city.

MOCA Movement: Pilates in the Museum

When: March 8, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Where: MOCA Toronto, 158 Sterling Rd.
Cost: $25 or $15 for MOCA members
