There’s a new interactive adventure coming to Edmonton this spring

8 April 20262 Mins Read

Get ready for a real-life optical illusion coming to Edmonton.

Museum of Illusions is a visual, sensory, and educational experience, shifting your perspective one way and then the other. While this experience takes you through the science of optical illusions, you’ll get to be a part of it: front and centre. It opened in 2015, and now it’s finally made its way to Edmonton after over 10 years of success.

If you’re ready to step into a world of curiosity and adventure, take yourself to the Museum of Illusions, opening this spring in West Edmonton Mall.

What to expect

Although it’s not open quite yet, we can expect to see this museum opening very, very soon.

This museum in West Edmonton Mall will showcase a number of different interactive exhibits, from perspective shifts to holograms and so much more. There are over 50 rooms typically in every museum across the world, all of which you can explore yourself. It usually takes over half an hour to get through the entire museum and experience it all.

It is an interactive museum, but it also highlights many pieces of amazing artwork on its own. You don’t have to be a part of the art to enjoy it, folks! Although that is where the fun is.

If you’re ready to jump into the world of optical illusions, now is your chance to experience it firsthand, live, and centre.

Stay tuned for more information on this exciting museum coming to Edmonton. We’ll give you all the details you’ll need to make your visit to the illusions all the more magical.

Curiocity has reached out to the Museum of Illusions for more information and will update once we hear back.

When: TBA
Time: Various times
Where: West Edmonton Mall — 8882 170th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
