Waterfall tour in Ontario
Get in your car and hit the road! According to Visit Grey, this experience is a self-guided tour that will take you to some lesser-known waterfalls. It is possible that some of these you’ve probably never heard of before.
“Where the water and rocks meet, feel the rush as the river flows over the escarpment’s edge,” reads the description of the tour by the Grey County tourism website.
“So appealing that they merit their own tour, these special places are often just a short drive or hike from busy roads.”
How long is the route?
The tour is about 150 km long, and it’s the perfect weekend activity. The tour will also take you to Eugenia Falls, which is one of the highest in eastern Canada.
Next is “one of Grey County’s best-kept secrets,” Hoggs Falls, along with the horseshoe-shaped Indian Falls, the historic Inglis Falls with ruins of a historic gristmill, and a trail that will take you to two waterfalls in one hike.
