“We need to bring red lipstick back into our daily rotation!” Sokolovska says. “This is the ultimate universal red. Not too dark, not too orange. It’s just bold enough to make a statement. It flatters every skin tone.“

Next, Sokolovska recommends a cool-toned nude. Even though it’s a cool shade, “it still manages to suit every skin tone,” she says. “It’s a creamy, wearable shade that pairs beautifully with a cool-toned lip liner, but feel free to experiment. This one’s a nude with endless possibilities.“

How To Keep Your Lipstick Looking Great All Day
After applying your lipstick, “gently blot away the excess with a tissue and set it with a thin layer of translucent powder,” Sokolovska recommends. “This creates a soft matte finish and locks the color in place. Since we constantly move our lips by talking, eating and sipping, thin layers set with powder wear off more slowly and evenly. It’s an old-school trick that truly works.”
