These Alberta music festivals are hiring right now

Warmer months are right around the corner, which means that so are all of the incredible summer music festivals held in Calgary, Edmonton, and beyond.

Want to cross as many of them off your list as possible? The best way to do so is not with a ticket, but with a staff t-shirt or a volunteer pass!

No matter your favourite genre or skill set, there is likely an event and a position for you.

If you’re interested in adding your favourite sunny season pastime to your resume, here are just a few of the biggest events where you can enjoy bass and fresh air, all while also gaining some experience and, in some cases, a paycheque.

Think you can handle a Cowboys summer? One of Calgary’s rowdiest festivals is currently looking for people to join their team. If you’re interested, you can now RSVP to their next job fair, where you’ll get face time with hiring staff. Good luck.

Good food, great music, and sunshine in Prince’s Island Park? What could possibly be a better way to enjoy yourself this sunny season? If you’re interested in becoming one of the 1,700 volunteers to bring the festival to life, head to their website now.

The Edmonton Folk Music Festival returns this August, and like so many years before, they’re looking for volunteers — but hurry, slots are filling up quickly, and you won’t want to miss a golden opportunity to get involved.
