We’ve all been there: we’ve got our party ‘fit ready, got the menu prepared and the best playlist together for our New Year’s Eve bash. Then suddenly, we realize we forgot one key thing: the drinks. And no, we’re not talking about the lattes from Starbucks.

If you’re shopping early enough, a quick trip to Costco or Walmart may solve that problem, but if it’s last-minute and many stores have closed, you’re left heading to your local liquor store to pick up what you need. For those that happen to live near a Total Wine, that’s probably the first place you’re headed to. But what are Total Wine’s New Year’s Eve hours? And is Total Wine even open on New Year’s Day?

Is Total Wine Open on New Year’s Eve?

Before you can confirm the hours for your local Total Wine location, you’ll first want to check that it’s open on New Year’s Eve. Though each of the states that Total Wine locations are found in have different alcohol laws and rules, we can confirm that majority of Total Wine locations will be open on New Year’s Eve. What we can’t confirm for you, however, is the hours they will be operating.

As noted above, since state, city and regional laws can vary state-to-state, every one of the Total Wine locations can have varying hours for New Year’s Eve. The best thing to do would be to call in advance to confirm the hours.

Is Total Wine Open on New Year’s Day?

Just like on New Year’s Eve, many Total Wine locations will be open on New Year’s Day. The hours, however, will vary at each store.
