These celebrities are coming to this year’s Edmonton Expo

3 September 20252 Mins Read

It’s that time of year, the Edmonton Expo is back in town.

Edmonton Expo is the city’s most popular and premier comic and entertainment convention. With special guests, large attractions, meet-and-greet opportunities, and more, this convention lights up the Edmonton EXPO Centre with a geeky and nerdy charm.

For three whole days, get ready to be immersed in everything entertainment-related for the weekend of a lifetime.

What to expect

There’s a variety of activities and events within the Edmonton Expo. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

For cosplayers, there’s a whole lineup of fun activities and events for the whole squad. Whether it’s walking the red carpet and showing off your cosplay, entering the Cosplay Craftsmanship Cup for the ultimate prize, or maybe you’re shopping for next year, there’s something for everyone.

Photo-ops will be available with select guests coming to the convention. Autographs will be another perfect opportunity to get something special from the creators you know and love.

This year, too, there’s an exciting lineup of guests coming to the city.

Elijah Wood, best known for his role as Frodo in The Lord of the Rings, will be joining the convention on Sunday. He’ll be joined by his co-stars in the epic fantasy world, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan. Marvel actor Mike Colter, the man behind Luke Cage, will also be appearing in Edmonton for the Saturday and Sunday event days.

Incredible voice actors like Troy Baker and Brandon Rogers will also showcase their talents this weekend. For the full list of amazing guests, check out the Edmonton Expo website.

Tickets are still available, both single-day and three-day tickets. Be prepared, and snatch them up early.

This convention always makes a mark, so get your cosplay and don’t miss out!

When: Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, to Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025
Time: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday
