24 September 20254 Mins Read

While there are a handful of exciting TV series and feature films currently in production in Vancouver, even more are on the horizon in Hollywood North in the coming months. This includes the next season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Grown Ups 3, and a new production detailing the 2022 University of Idaho murders.

So with that in mind, here are some upcoming projects to keep an eye out for in the coming months.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Season 3

Filmed under the pseudo-title “Mink Golden,” Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a TV series created in 2023, starring Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood. According to Creative BC, the third season is currently filming through the rest of the year and into 2026, wrapping up on March 13, 2026.

When: Until March 13, 2026

Tracker, Season 3

Starring Justin Hartley, Abby McEnany, and Eric Graise, Tracker is now in its third season, telling the story of Colter Shaw as he travels the country in an RV to help locate people who have gone missing, until his latest case changes everything. The show will conclude filming its third season in Langley on April 17, 2026.

When: Until April 17, 2026

Grown Ups 3

Grown Ups 3 is currently in pre-production, with filming set to commence in Vancouver in February of next year. In the third instalment of this iconic slapstick comedy, a surprise inheritance means that Lenny, Eric, Kurt, Marcus, and Rob have control of their childhood summer camp, where they reunite for “one last hurrah.”

When: Starts filming on Feb. 2, 2026

Yellowjackets, Season 4

Just like the three seasons that came before, Season 4 of Yellowjackets is set to film in the Vancouver area starting in February 2026. Renewed for its next season back in May, the popular series follows the complicated lives of a slew of plane crash survivors who went down in the remote Canadian wilderness.

When: Starts filming on Feb. 17, 2026

Seasons

This movie follows a couple destined to fall in love, but kept apart by a “vengeful soul.” It’s only through a 100-year odyssey through previous lifetimes that they finally come together, according to productionlist.com. In addition to filming in New York and London, Seasons will film in Vancouver on Oct. 1, 2025.

When: Oct. 1, 2025

Air Bud Returns

Written and directed by Robert Vince, the franchise’s original creator, Air Bud Returns is filming at 300 – 2339 Columbia St. between Oct. 1 and Nov. 21, 2025. In this movie, 12-year-old Jacob meets a stray golden retriever, whom we named Buddy, and who helps him embark on a journey of healing after the passing of his father.

When: Oct. 1 to Nov. 21, 2025

A Dog’s Perfect Christmas

Yes, another dog-centred feature film! A Dog’s Perfect Christmas is filmed from the point of view of a senior basset hound, Winstead, about the chaos that ensues when a mother is put into an induced coma. This movie films in Vancouver on Oct. 28, 2025, according to the FTIA.

When: Oct. 28, 2025

The Idaho Murders

That’s a wrap on what’s filming in Vancouver, for now. Keep your eyes peeled for more productions to come.
