It’s always a great idea to support local when you can, but seeing new stores open amidst closures like Hudson’s Bay is exciting, nonetheless. In Vancouver, there are a handful of new shops to check out if you want to mix up your spring wardrobe, and a couple are even offering special opening sales for a limited time! Let’s dive right in.
These new stores have opened (or will open soon) in and around Vancouver.
Set to open mid-April, Reformation Kitsilano, which will span over 1,300 square feet, marks the brand’s third Canadian location and the first in Western Canada. The sustainable fashion brand will bring all its most coveted styles to the new store, from spring dresses to classic denim to chic sets.

Lingerie brand Understance is known for its solution-based approach to bras, and its fourth Canadian location is now open at Metrotown. The sprawling 2,000-square-foot boutique is a significant step in the brand’s expansion, bringing high-quality, comfort-forward lingerie to the city. The grand opening sale is on until April 6, 2025, offering 30% off all in-store items.

Marshalls has opened a brand-new downtown location on Granville Street, with a wide array of brand-name and designer apparel, at 20 per cent to 60 per cent less than other retailers, including department stores and major online retailers.
The store is now open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

This last one is technically a pop-up, but Knix is currently at Holt Renfew locations across Canada, offering a variety of Knix’s famous leakproof underwear, activewear, swimwear, and shapewear. This includes its best-selling Revolution Bra, new Gossamer Lace sets, and Bodysuits, all of which will be available until May 26, 2025.
