These u-pick tulip experiences in Ontario are a must-visit this spring

8 April 20263 Mins Read

Tulip season is upon us, Ontario! It’s about to paint our fields in every shade of spring. A handful of local farms are prepping for the season and will soon welcome visitors to step right into the rows of tulips and pick their own bouquets.

Whether you’re on the hunt for a scenic day trip or a day amongst the flowers, these tulip u-pick farm experiences are worth the journey.

Red, pinks, whites, purples – a colourful array of tulips will take over acres of land at the JP Niagara Tulip experience. This is your chance to wander through over 2,000,000 tulips starting this April.

When: April 24 to May 17, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (timed entry)
Where: 230 A Tice Rd., Pelham, Ont.
Cost: $21.80+

Pingle’s Farm is gearing up to host over 30 tulip varieties from Holland, 500,000 flowers, for three weekends this May 2026.

Known for its seasonal offerings like pumpkin patches, Christmas markets, and Easter celebrations, Pingle’s Farm will soon welcome all to stroll through its tulip field, offering a pick-your-own tulip experience.

When: Friday, May 9 to Monday, May 18, 2026
Time: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 1805 Taunton Rd., Hampton, Ont.
Cost: $19.95+

Ready for peak bloom season? Roadside Flower Market is gearing up to welcome the public to its tulip U-pick experience. Enjoy over a million tulips as they start to bloom this month. If you’re looking to see them at their peak, head over in a few weeks. According to the market, this is when the fields transform into a breathtaking sea of colour.

When: Starting April 17, 2026 – Monday to Sunday
Time: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 1923 7th St. S., St. Catharines, Ont.
Cost: $10+

Head to Niagara-on-the-Lake for this stunning tulip pick experience at Ontario’s largest tulip farm. With over 3,000,000 tulips and more than 100 different varieties, the TASC Flower Farm stands out amongst the rest. And that’s not because it takes over 55 acres of land, but rather, thanks to the number of experiences it offers at its tulip farm. With tulips and wine tasting to single-admission adventures, take your pick!

And of course, go home with bright and colourful tulips.

When: Tentative opening date April 4, 2026
Time: Opening day at 10 a.m., hours thereafter: Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
