This 50-acre Alberta museum is home to hundreds of vintage machines

The Summer Tractor Pull, happening on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, 2026, turns the property into a gathering place for machinery enthusiasts, with powerful vintage tractors competing in a weekend of fun.

The museum’s biggest event of the year is Alberta’s Pioneer Steam Power Festival, which brings together some of the most impressive pieces from Pioneer Acres’ collection. At the event, you’ll have the opportunity to watch half a dozen steam traction engines and other historic equipment in action, enjoy parades, tractor pulls, and more.
