Opened in 2003, Restaurant La Quintessence is the restaurant of the five-star luxury boutique Hotel Quintessence, which is known for its enchanting and luxurious setting on Lake Tremblant.

The hotel and restaurant’s name, Quintessence, comes from the ancient idea of a fifth element in alchemy and philosophy, a mysterious force believed to represent the essence of nature and the heavens.

“Our goal is to provide our guests with ‘the quintessential things of life,’ all the elements to experience a lasting sense of well-being,” says the hotel.

Diners recommend the Caesar salad, which comes with fried capers, Parmesan, croutons, bacon, and Caesar sauce, the Lobster risotto with truffle, and the restaurant’s fish dishes, including the Chinook salmon with coral lentil risotto and broccolini with a lavender cream sauce, and the Halibut filet, which is cooked in a banana leaf and served with maple and sesame bok choys, ginger sweet potato purée, asparagus, and açaí butter sauce.

Guests can also enjoy musical summer evenings at the restaurant every Thursday from 7 p.m. until closing, with live music played by guest artists framed by the ambience of the lake.
