This evening event at the Edmonton Valley Zoo is perfect for beer and animal lovers alike

22 May 20263 Mins Read

This adults-only evening at the Edmonton Valley Zoo is the best way to spend a summer night in the city.

Complete with live music, local food vendors, and breweries, as well as the magic of exotic and wild animals, Zoobrew transforms the family-friendly atmosphere of the local Valley Zoo into an ultra-fun escape. With over 25 breweries, wineries, and distilleries, you’ll be sipping all night long.

Whether it’s with friends, family, or a special loved one in your life, this evening will be nothing short of magical.

What to expect

There are three dates for Zoobrew this year, one in June, one in July, and one in August. All events are 18+ only, so no kids allowed, people!

Keep in mind, ticket prices only include admission to Zoobrew as well as your own take-home Zoobrew sampling mug and lanyard you can use during the event.

Sample tickets can be purchased separately during the event, starting at $20 for 20 tickets. Each sample ranges from two to four tickets, but food and cocktails can be more, according to their website.

Some of the breweries partnering with the zoo for this event include local favourites like Sea Change Brewing Co. and Talking Dog Brewing. For those who don’t drink alcohol, don’t worry. Select breweries and distilleries offer non-alcoholic options in addition to the beverage options served at food trucks and service stations.

There’s more than just animals and drinks, however. You can expect your own dose of live entertainment at this evening event, from acoustic duos to full bands. Or spend your time getting invested in all the critters that occupy the space. Sit back, relax, and take in the serene vibes and natural atmosphere of the zoo.

Not only does this event act as a night of entertainment, but attending helps raise funds for the community zoo and ensures its success for many years to come.

If you’re ready to dance the night away under the stars, all within the walls of the fantastic local zoo, this isn’t an event to miss. So, if you’re ready to say cheers to another successful year of drinks in the zoo, feel free to toast them with us.

When: Saturday, June 20, 2026, Saturday, July 18, 2026, and Saturday, Aug. 21, 2026
Time: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Valley Zoo — 13315 Buena Vista Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $33.50
