If Margaritaville at Sea has always treated the bar as more than just a place to grab a drink, its next ship is making that philosophy official. When Beachcomber debuts in early 2027, the cruise line’s newest vessel won’t just have a lot of bars—it’s being built around them, with seven new lounges and drinking spots designed to feel like destinations in their own right.
The idea isn’t quantity for quantity’s sake. Beachcomber’s bars are meant to give guests a reason to move around the ship, try something different each night and linger a little longer once they find a favorite. From speakeasy-style hideaways to frozen daiquiri counters and live-music lounges, the ship’s beverage lineup reads like the perfect bar crawl.
“The bars aboard Beachcomber are designed to be social and approachable,” said Eric Neuwirth, Vice President of Food & Beverage at Margaritaville at Sea in a press statement. “Each venue has its own identity, while maintaining a consistent level of hospitality that encourages guests to linger, connect and return.”
Some familiar Margaritaville staples are returning, including Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits, License to Chill Bar and the brand’s signature 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar. But the real statement comes from what’s new. One of the most intriguing additions is Cowboy in the Jungle, a velvet-lined speakeasy tucked out of sight with room for only a handful of guests. The cocktail menu leans into rum and agave spirits, with drinks built around technique and presentation rather than novelty cups.

Daiquiri Shack
At the other end of the spectrum is Daiquiri Shack, a poolside stop dedicated entirely to frozen drinks, with a rotating lineup that goes well beyond the standard strawberry-and-pina-colada formula. Nearby, Polynesian Lounge blends classic tiki influences with live music and daytime games, while LandShark Sports Bar brings wall-to-wall screens, draft beer and bar snacks into an island setting that’s meant to work whether there’s a big game on or not.

Flip Flop Bar will be the ship’s social crossroads, anchoring the shopping promenade with music and casual drop-in energy. Lah De Dah Juice Bar offers a non-alcoholic counterpoint near the spa and teen spaces, serving smoothies, juices and mocktails throughout the day. For something calmer, The Front Yard focuses on spritzes and aperitif-style drinks meant for late afternoons, while Floridays pairs coastal small plates with pitchers of sangria in a space that works equally well for dinner or a long evening.
Tying it all together is Same Boat, a live-music venue created with Zac Brown that anchors Beachcomber’s nightlife around performances and an easygoing bar atmosphere.
To sum it up, this is a ship designed for people who think the bar is the best place to start—and end—the night.
