This historical museum in Edmonton will be hosting its own ‘Tiny House Concerts’

31 March 20262 Mins Read

This concert series in Edmonton is inspired by one of the most popular pop culture concert series on the internet. Tiny House Concert Series is the John Walter Museum‘s newest concert series, bringing together small but excellent artists from the region into a tiny space to perform.

Inspired by the popular Tiny Desk Concerts, you can expect the same intimate mood as Tiny Desk but in one of Edmonton’s most historic buildings.

Are you familiar with the John Walter Museum? It’s an accredited museum that tells the story of pioneer John Walter, including three of the original homes from his family.

If you’re looking for a concert with a vibe like no other, you won’t want to miss this opportunity.

Who will be playing?

From April 16 to 18, you can expect three artists: one for each day. Each performance will last one hour, starting at 8:30 p.m. and ending at 9:30 p.m, allowing the perfect amount of time for a close-up, intimate look at these artists’ repertoire.

On the 16th, the Edmonton Public Library’s Musician in Residence, Olivia Street, will be taking the house by storm. Also known for being the lead of popular rock band King of the Foxes, this woman has showcased her music across Canada in countless ways. You won’t want to miss this Western Canadian Music Award-nominated star.

Following Street, you can see the CKUA‘s chart-topping D’orjay the Singing Shaman, or hop in and listen to the tunes from Lindsey Walker on the 18th.

Maybe you’ll be tempted to see each artist, and to that, we say: absolutely go for it.

This opportunity may not come again, so seize the day and buy tickets as soon as possible; you won’t want to miss the chance. Enjoy this intimate concert series as much as you can, folks, because hopefully we’ll see it again.

When: Thursday, April 16, 2026, to Saturday, April 18, 2026
Time: 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Where: 9180 Walterdale Hill NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $36
