This is everything you need to know about the 2025 Toronto Pride Parade

12 June 20253 Mins Read

It’s Pride month, and the countdown is on to the annual parade that takes over downtown Toronto for a day of celebration. The Pride Parade is back this year, bigger and better than ever. If you’re planning on attending this year’s festivities and watching the parade, here’s everything you need to know about the Pride Parade this year.

When is the Pride Parade in Toronto?

Over 25,000 marchers and more than 250 groups are expected to participate in this year’s parade, scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 29.

It will kick off at 2 p.m., but if you want to get a good spot and view of the parade, we recommend getting there an hour early. Depending on the weather, come prepared and hydrated — it can get hot.

What is the Pride Parade route?

According to Pride Toronto, it starts at the intersection of Rosedale Valley Rd. and Park Rd. It travels south down Yonge St. before it turns onto Dundas St. and ends at Nathan Phillips Square.

Where are the best viewing spots?

Based on personal experience, anywhere along Yonge St near Wellesley St. is a great choice. As long as you get there early, you can secure a good spot along the route. And it’s also a good spot if you want to leave the parade early to enjoy the street festival happening on Church Street.

Get ready to raise your voice and show your support! If you’re excited for everything that’s going on for Pride Month but don’t know where to start, we’ve also compiled a list of activities happening throughout the month.

Happy Pride month, Toronto and enjoy this year’s parade.

When: June 29, 2025
Time: Starts at 2 p.m.
Where: Rosedale Valley Road & Park Road, West on Church Street, South on Yonge Street, to Nathan Phillips Square
