Here’s everything you can get up to in Malhurst Bay.
A Storybook Experience
For those familiar with the location on Crowsnest Pass, Charmed Resorts is the ultimate fairytale getaway. This one-of-a-kind campground is home to a multitude of cottages that look like they’re straight from the pages of a storybook.
It all started with one family’s dream. Husband and wife, Tyson and Audy, along with their team built the very first Midsummer Cottage as a home for fairies in the mountains. Following its success, they expanded their first resort in Crowsnest Pass to host 15 lovely fairytale cottages. Spend a night in a gingerbread house, Hook’s pirate ship, or even the Lost Boy’s treehouse.
It’s a magical experience, and now Charmed Resorts is opening a second location in the hamlet of Mulhurst Bay. Rapunzel’s Tower is the first cottage to be completed at the new location, with the resort planning to open in the spring of 2025.
Mulhurst Bay
This quaint hamlet in central Alberta sits on the northeast side of Pigeon Lake. While it will be the new home for Charmed Resorts’ second location, we promise it’s already worth a trip in and of itself.
If you need some reading material for your weekend away, stop by Mulhurst Bay Books and Gifts. This adorable bookshop was built inside an old church, and there’s plenty of selection no matter your reading fancy.
The convenient location of Mulhurst Bay also means you’re close to Pigeon Lake Provincial Park. Explore the many surrounding trails, campgrounds, water sports, and sandy beaches around the lake. If you don’t feel like staying in a fairytale your entire trip, Pigeon Lake offers many summer villages and resorts for the ultimate lake-life getaway.
Trapse along idyllic boardwalks, pop into an ice cream parlour or unwind with a day of golfing or at the spa. This is a lakeside retreat that’s perfect for adventurers, families, and storybook lovers alike.
There’s really something for everyone here. Make sure you add Mulhurst Bay, Alberta to your spring and summer travel plans!
