This Metro Vancouver company is among B.C.’s top employers for 2026 and it’s hiring with great benefits

12 February 20263 Mins Read

The list of B.C.’s top employers for 2026 is out, recognizing industry leaders who prioritize creating an exceptional workplace. Each year, organizations are assessed based on eight criteria (workplace, work atmosphere, health, financial and family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and development, and community involvement) to spotlight the very best the province has to offer.

“British Columbia’s government is predicting the province will add over one million jobs in the next decade, shares B.C.’s Top Employers. “Though government funding for in-demand job training has been announced, many employers are challenging convention by shifting to skills-based hiring and robust in-house training to address the province’s widening skills gap.”

Safe Software job openings

One organization at the forefront of this transition is Safe Software, a local data integration company that was started in B.C. over 30 years ago and is now headquartered in Surrey.

A representative of Safe Software shares that the company has grown from just two employees during its inception to hundreds across the country, and this growth shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, the company is hiring for a handful of roles right now, including several director positions, an integration and automation developer, and a product security specialist, to name a few.

“Being named one of BC’s Top Employers is a tremendous honour that reflects our deep-rooted commitment to creating an exceptional workplace where our team can thrive,” says Don Murray, CEO of Safe Software. “Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and this recognition validates our efforts to build a culture that supports innovation, growth, and work-life balance while we advance toward our goal of reaching $250 million in revenue by 2028.”

The creator of the “only All-Data, Any-AI enterprise integration platform (FME),” Safe Software is committed to building a flexible, meaningful employee experience geared towards long-term growth. The company shares that it does its best to give employees autonomy while staying connected on a purpose-driven team, offering extensive benefits in return.

Benefits and perks

This includes 100 per cent health coverage, including a $5,000 mental health support, access to a private 4,000-square-foot gym, and three to five weeks of vacation plus six paid personal days.

Most employees also enjoy a hybrid work model with flexible hours, with its Surrey HQ steps away from the SkyTrain.

Finally, Safe Software prides itself on having a transparent salary grid since 2020, years before salary transparency legislation was passed.
