Like, what steps prove you are innovative enough to elevate the furniture retailer’s already clever, space-saving offerings even further? Because, let me tell you, every time I think IKEA has made my life a little easier with some compact, foldable or stackable item, it comes out with an accessory or new version that’s even better. It’s impressive.

Just look at the different things IKEA has done with the simple BILLY bookcase, or the many different ways it’s giving small kitchens around the world more counter space. The latest new product drop, however, is coming for your KALLAX.

KALLAX Insert With Cork Door, $25 at IKEA

If you shop at IKEA, I have to believe you’re pretty familiar with its KALLAX storage system by now. It’s that perfectly cubed shelving unit that comes in all different types of combinations. KALLAX has a ton of different inserts to help you customize the unit to meet your needs, and now IKEA has introduced the KALLAX Insert with a cork door. A cork door! That means you can pin reminders, photos or anything else lightweight and hangable you want to have handy.

The corkboard door may be relatively small, but it’s still mighty versatile. Pin jewelry for an easy-access display, create a rotating vision board, keep favorite recipes front and center or use it as a spot for Polaroids, postcards and concert tickets that make you smile. You could even turn it into a tiny seasonal décor moment with dried flowers, ribbon or mood-board inspiration. There are a lot of options here.
