This new Toronto flight lands in one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful destinations

9 June 20262 Mins Read

If you’re trying to plan out your vacation days for the rest of the year, there’s a new flight service launching out of Toronto that you’ll definitely want to keep on your radar, especially if you’re hoping to escape the winter cold.

BermudAir announced last week that it’s expanding its Caribbean network this upcoming winter season with the launch of a new, direct flight service from Toronto to Turks and Caicos, with continuing service to Anguilla.

The airline, which first commenced operations less than three years ago, is the flag carrier of Bermuda and is based at L.F. Wade International Airport in St. George’s.

The seasonal route will operate once a week on Saturdays from Dec. 19, 2026, through May 1, 2027. Flights will depart from Toronto Pearson Airport at 2:45 p.m. and arrive roughly four hours later in Turks and Caicos at 6:40 p.m. Continuing flights to Anguilla will depart at 8 p.m. and arrive just before 11 p.m.

Returning flights to Toronto will depart Anguilla at 9 a.m., Turks and Caicos at 11 a.m., and arrive back at Pearson Airport at 3 p.m.

The Turks and Caicos are a British Overseas Territory located just southeast of the Bahamas and is composed of 40 low-lying coral islands. The archipelago is known for its white sand beaches, turquoise waters, luxury villas, vibrant marine life, extensive reef system, and conch harvesting.

“Both Turks and Caicos and Anguilla are jewels of the Caribbean,” said BermudAir CEO Adam Scott. “We’re thrilled to continue expanding our network and growing our presence in Canada while offering travellers more convenient access to some of the region’s most exceptional destinations.”

Along with the new Turks and Caicos route, the Bermuda-based airline operates service from the island to Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax. The relatively new airline will be competing with WestJet and Air Canada throughout the winter season on its upcoming route to Providenciales International Airport.

All flights on the new Turks and Caicos route will operate on an Embraer E190 aircraft, and according to BermudAir, ticket sales are “coming soon.”
