This new winter wellness experience in Ontario is the perfect escape

24 December 20253 Mins Read

2026 is all about wellness, and the Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is helping you reach the ultimate state of tranquility. The popular spot, nestled in one of Ontario’s most picturesque towns, has just released its new Winter Wellness experience, “celebrating the art of renewal.”

The experience can be booked through The Mill’s spa, but you’ll need to act fast, as it’s only running from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2026.

“There’s something extraordinary about this time of year in Elora,” says Jocelyn Maurice, Managing Partner of Elora Mill Hotel & Spa.

“The snow transforms the village into something out of a dream, but it’s the warmth within these walls, the sense of care and calm, that makes winter here feel magical. It’s a time to pause, to truly nourish yourself, and to remember what it feels like to rest.”

The new experience will have bespoke wellness rituals and ceremonies, a contrast circuit, and daily wellness workshops. There’s a heated outdoor pool with gorgeous views of the Grand River and a sauna filled with the smells of cedar, the perfect place to start your day.

Workshops range from “learning to make sourdough, guided meditation and breathwork classes, sound-healing sessions, and creative art.”

The Mill’s culinary team will be ready to take you through a dining experience rooted in seasonal veggies and slow-cooked proteins. “Whether shared as a multi-course tasting experience or a comforting, candlelit meal, each plate feels like a love letter to Ontario’s winter harvest,” shares the hotel and spa.

There’s also a communal dinner option, where guests can enjoy a meal with new people and celebrate delicious dishes, local ingredients, and the art of good conversation.

So, if you find yourself slipping into the winter blues, maybe it’s time to treat yourself to a little R&R. I think that one of North America’s most beloved spas, amidst some of Ontario’s most stunning landscapes, should do the trick.

Where: 77 West Mill St., Elora, Ont.
