Ontario’s Mountsberg Conservation Area is bringing back its annual award-winning outdoor light displays and twinkling trails for Winterlit. If you’re still not over the magic of the holidays, this is the perfect excuse to hit the road and go on a road trip.

Starting Dec. 31, 2025, Winterlit will transform the Mountsberg grounds with illuminated art installations, cozy lounges, light trails and more.

What can I expect at Winterlit this year?

According to Conservation Halton, two of its trails are lined with sustainably sourced illuminated art pieces. This is your chance to explore the Illuminated Sugar Bush Trail, a one-kilometre-long adventure and the Winterlit Trail, with the same length, under the glow of the night sky and

When you’re done with your moonlit walk, warm up by the Fireside Lounges and kick your feet up.

Book lovers will enjoy the cozy Book Nook, where you can swap for a new read. And play a few board games too.

You’ll also get the chance to learn all about the animals that call Mountsberg home in ‘The Den’ and even take home a wood-branded souvenir of your visit.

Take part in Art in the Park, where you make your own work of art to display at the park or take home. The fee for this activity goes to the Animal Care Fund and supports the farm animals, raptors, and native snakes.

Winterlit runs every evening from Dec. 31, 2025, to Jan. 4, 2026, and select dates between Jan. 10, 2026, and Feb. 16, 2026.

How much are tickets to Winterlit?

Tickets to this whimsical event are priced at $23 plus tax for adults, seniors and children (five to 14) are $19, and young ones four and under are free.

If you’re a Conservation Halton member, adults are priced at $17 plus tax, and seniors and children (five to 14) are $14.

Make sure to book your experience ASAP. You don’t want to miss out on this twinkling event.

When: Dec. 31, 2025, to Jan. 4, 2026, and select dates between Jan. 10, 2026 and Feb. 16, 2026.
Where: Mountsberg Conservation Area – 2259 Milburough Line, Campbellville, Ont.
