This Thanksgiving, think small with recipes for bite-size dishes | Canada Voices

2 October 20251 Min Read

Officially, Thanksgiving is a celebration of our bountiful Canadian harvest. We’re brought together with the comfort of our friends and families around traditional dishes. But dinner is just the catalyst: The whole point of the holiday is the gathering.

On a day when we’re meant to be enjoying each other’s company, it can be overwhelming to cook or co-ordinate a multicourse meal, and accommodate everyone in your space. If you’d like to feed more people than you can comfortably fit around the table, try going small instead of big; make the menu bite-sized and spread everyone out to graze on all their favourite flavours – no cutlery required – wherever they find a comfortable spot.

Make these fall-flavoured mocktails for Thanksgiving

These recipes cover all the classics and can be prepped ahead and cooked quickly, so you can focus on what’s most important.
