This Toronto spot is hosting free cozy movie nights all winter

19 January 20262 Mins Read

Winter nights don’t all have to be spent at home. There’s a cozy, family-friendly indoor movie series bringing big-screen favourites to Evergreen Brick Works. And the best part is that no ticket is required.

The free film screenings are happening at Evergren Brick Works every Saturday until mid-February. Seating is available, but guests are encouraged to arrive early to get a spot. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase from the on-site bar, making it easy to settle in for the evening.

Movies and times

Each movie night starts at 6:30 p.m., with a lineup that spans animated adventures and classic storytelling.

Movies include:

  • Dalmatians – Jan. 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
  • Abominable – Jan. 31, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
  • Frozen – Feb. 7, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
  • Little Women – Feb. 14, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.

Those who arrive even earlier can make an entire afternoon of it. From 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on screening days, the Ontario Science Centre will be hosting hands-on science activities on-site, offering an interactive experience before the movies start.

Reservations and advance tickets are not required, keeping the event accessible and easy to attend.

Whether you’re looking for a family outing, a casual winter date idea, or simply a warm place to watch a movie, this indoor film series offers a relaxed way to beat the winter blues.

When: Jan. 24, and 31, Feb. 7 and 14, 2026
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Ave., East York
Cost: Free
