Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladdy Guerrero Jr. (26) is no stranger to sharing emotional family moments with Major League Baseball fans. The son of Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero Sr. all but grew up on the sidelines of his dad’s games and signed with the Blue Jays at the age of 16. Ahead of Game 5 of the 2025 World Series, the Toronto Blue Jays standout is sharing another family moment, this time courtesy of his adorable eight-year-old daughter Vlaimel.
In a pull-at-your-heartstrings video shared by the Players’ Tribune, the baseball star’s eldest daughter can be heard in voiceover over video of her and her dad. Guerrero Jr.’s young daughter says:
“Hi, Daddy. I’m on my way to the suite. I knew it, Daddy. I knew you were gonna win. You are gonna be the best one out there. You are gonna win. We’re gonna win this whole season. I’ve got an eye on you! I love you, Dad!”

The heartwarming video gives a slice of life with the MLB star in full girl-dad mode with his sweet and adoring daughter. It’s the kind of moment Guerrero Jr. is used to sharing, but one that fans never tire of.
Emotional fans slid into the comments section (right after grabbing a tissue).
“We’re crying rn,” shared one fan. Another added, “Dodger fan here, but honestly this is actually so beautiful. Best of luck to both teams and each man on the field, and may the best team win.”
“Win it for her and the city, Vladdy! Vamooooos!” commented another.

Toronto Loves Vladdy Guerrero Jr.
Guerrero Jr. is basically Canadian royalty, having spent his entire professional baseball career playing for the Blue Jays. Fans have loved watching the athlete grow up on the baseball field and are now savoring the opportunity to see Vlaimel and her sister Vlaishel (7) join the extended family of Major League Baseball.
Having already spent a decade on the team, fans can rest assured the 26-year-old superstar isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. In April 2025, he signed a 14-year, $500 million contract extension, the largest contract in Toronto Blue Jays history.
