This Week on 'Days': The New Promo Teases a Dangerous Trap

Steve Johnson makes a decisive move in the new Days of Our Lives promo, setting a trap designed to finally catch Stephanie’s stalker.

But with the danger lurking closer than anyone realizes, the plan may already be compromised—turning confidence into creeping unease as next week approaches.

Gwen is shocked when she sees that Rolf’s latest experiment has worked and he has actually found a way to bring the dead back to life. What is he planning on doing with this miraculous new ability? Who does he want to resurrect?

EJ and Rafe meet regarding the unidentified bones that were found in the DiMera crypt. EJ is taken aback when Rafe informs him that the bones belonged to his father, Stefan DiMera. Why are they no longer interred? Who is behind taking them, and is it the same person who dropped them back inside the crypt? Every answer in this mystery leads to many more questions.

Steve talks to Jada, Stephanie, and Alex and lays out his plan to trap the stalker. He tells them that they will create a scenario where he thinks he has a chance to get her alone. He thinks the man obsessed with Stephanie won’t be able to pass up the opportunity they will lay out, and then they will nab him. Unfortunately for them, the stalker has bugged Alex and Stephanie’s apartment and is listening to the whole conversation.

Rafe shows Abe a picture of Liam and informs him that he may have been involved with Theo’s kidnapping. Has Abe been mentoring the man who kidnapped and nearly caused the death of his son?

A desperate Gwen places a phone call to Alamania and asks Vivian if she still hates the Von Leuschner family as much as she used to. Vivian tells her that she does not—she hates them even more! Has Gwen acquired the ally she needs in her fight?
