Bike For Free Day is back, Toronto. Tangerine Bank and the Toronto Parking Authority have come together to offer Torontonians unlimited 90-minute bike rides, happening June 14, 2025.
“Every year, more and more Torontonians are cycling and trying Bike Share Toronto,” says Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow. “As a proud cyclist myself, I know that biking is an affordable, fast, and environmentally friendly way to get around the city – and a great form of exercise.”
Yep, this is a perfect opportunity to cruise around the city for free and explore some spots that have been on your list.
So, how do you access the bikes sans charge? First, you’ll need to download the Bike Share Toronto App. From there, you’ll see the Free Day Pass. Your 24 hours of free 90-minute rides start once the pass is activated.
Free rides can be applied to both e-bikes and classic bikes.
In a city where traffic can truly turn your day for the absolute worst, this is an awesome way to travel around, or familiarize yourself with Bike Share if you haven’t tried it out yet.
According to Bike Share Toronto, almost 7 million rides were taken on a Bike Share bike last year alone, which is a mind-blowing stat in my opinion.
It’s a two-wheel summer, baby!
