There could be some interesting music being played out of the Toronto Blue Jays locker room this season.
The Blue Jays posted a video asking players what their guilty pleasure song is, and the answers were absolutely hilarious. A few artists were named by several players, with quite a few Swifties donning the Jays jersey this season. Here’s a look at the guilty pleasure songs of some of the Blue Jays roster:
- Mason Fluharty: “Look What You Made Me Do,” Taylor Swift
- Davis Schneider: “Unwritten,” Natasha Bedingfield
- Ernie Clement: “Zombie,” The Cranberries
- Ryan Jennings: “Love Story,” Taylor Swift
- Kevin Gausman: Taylor Swift
- Jose Berrios: Taylor Swift
- Michael Stefanic: “Party in The USA,” Miley Cyrus
- Riley Tirotta: “Unwritten,” Natasha Bedingfield
- Phil Clarke: “Hot To Go!,” Chappell Roan
- Robert Brooks: “Pink Pony Club,” Chappell Roan
- Leo Jimemenz: “Levitating,” Dua Lipa
- Ryan Burr: “Espresso,” Sabrina Carpenter
- Jacob Sharp: “Barbie Girl,” Aqua
- Braydon Fisher: “We Can’t Stop,” Miley Cyrus
- Josh Kasevich: “Risk,” Gracie Abrams
Starting pitchers Kevin Gausman and Jose Berrios, both dads to young daughters, said any and every song by Taylor Swift would qualify. Christian Bethancourt had a similar response, saying any song by The Weeknd would be considered his guilty pleasure.
Perhaps the funniest answer was from catcher Tyler Heineman. The 33-year-old couldn’t name just one, listing off Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” and “Shape of My Heart.” He also mentioned Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” and Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face.”
Taylor Swift? Chappell Roan? The guys have great taste in music 😉 #QuestionOfTheDay pic.twitter.com/K7jODgVg8x
