One fan visiting the Toronto Blue Jays stadium this week got a souvenir so unique that you’d probably only believe it if you caught it on video.
But, thankfully for one Baltimore Orioles fan, that’s exactly what happened this week when he decided to stay at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel connected to the Rogers Centre.
Well known for being the only hotel on the continent directly attached to a major league ballpark with views of the field, the young Orioles fan caught the attention of a few players during a training session yesterday.
And with Baltimore outfielder Colton Cowser wanting to test out his arm strength, a souvenir baseball made it all the way from the diamond up to the fan’s hotel room.

The Orioles’ content team got their own angle of Cowser’s throw, which made its way into the team’s hype video ahead of Opening Day.
The video was later picked up by both the official MLB account and the MLB Network.
And the day after the clip initially went viral, it appears that the now-infamous game of catch netted a better room view for the fan.

With the Blue Jays getting their season underway today against the Orioles, hundreds of guests each night are expected to have a unique view of the ballpark in the hotel that opened alongside the stadium in 1989.
But unless someone gets a home run hit directly into their hotel room, we might already have the coolest video of the 2025 season.
If you’re interested in trying to have a similar experience yourself, the hotel itself offers both field-facing and non-field-facing rooms, which can be booked via the Marriott website.
As you might expect, price fluctuations occur depending on whether the Jays or other events are in town.
