Toronto house that’s internet famous for giant skeleton is for sale

10 July 20253 Mins Read

If you’ve ever walked down Davenport Road in Toronto, chances are you’ve done a double-take in front of one home known for a very tall, very bony local celebrity.

Affectionately known as Bones, the 12-foot skeleton on the front lawn of 2043 Davenport Rd. has become a neighbourhood icon and low-key internet legend thanks to homeowner and realtor Samantha Fraser’s delightfully weird sense of humour.

Over the years, Bones has been transformed into Barboo, Chappell Roan of The Pink Bony Club, and more. Yes, there are costumes. Yes, they’re fabulous.

The front entrance.

But while Bones brings the drama, the house itself is all calm vibes and cozy charm.

A home office.

Now listed for $1,389,000, this four-bed, three-bath semi is surprisingly spacious, impeccably maintained, and—according to Fraser—shockingly quiet for being on a main street.

The living room.

From the outside, it looks modest (aside from the towering skeleton in the front yard), but step inside and you’re greeted by high ceilings, exposed brick, and a flood of natural light.

The dining room.

“Because of the way the road is angled, we don’t have another home’s brick wall beside us,” said Fraser.

Lots of natural light.

“Instead, we have a giant west-facing window that lets in tons of sunshine.”

The living and dining area feels open yet warm, with natural hardwood floors and just the right amount of character.

The kitchen.

The kitchen is equally welcoming. It features a central island, a pull-out pantry, and ample counter space.

The powder room.

There’s even a powder room tucked off the back mudroom, plus laundry hookups and bonus storage.

A bedroom.

Upstairs, all three bedrooms are surprisingly roomy, each fitting a queen bed and other furniture (imagine!).

The primary bedroom.

The primary bedroom has space for a king-size bed and two double closets, and there’s even a long hallway closet with four doors—for all your “I don’t know where to put this” items.

The basement.

The basement, accessible by a separate entrance, is bright, fresh, and full of potential.

The bedroom in the basement.

With a large bedroom, a four-piece bathroom, and soft new carpet, it’s move-in ready.

The area that could be turned into a kitchen.

There’s even a space that could easily become a kitchen again—perfect for an in-law suite, guest space, or rental unit.

The backyard.

Outside, the backyard is unexpectedly magical. There’s a custom mural, a big deck, perennials, and both sun and shade throughout the day.

The backyard.

All told, the house offers over 2,000 square feet of living space, legal front pad parking, and a community full of friendly neighbours and great schools.

And no, Bones isn’t included in the sale—but don’t worry. Fraser says the skeleton will be proudly out front once the house is sold to let you know where to follow their next adventures (hint: it’s Instagram).

The back of the house.

P.S. future owners should be prepared for October, when you will be the house that kids (and probably a few adults) stop by to ask, “Hey… where’s Bones?”
