Toronto is getting a 12 day comedy festival with over 200 performers

Consider that funny bone tickled. TOsketchfest, aka the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, is around the corner, happening from March 5 to 16. The festivities include nearly two weeks of hilarious live comedy featuring over 200 performers and over 50 shows.

Ready to laugh? Here’s what you need to know before you go.

“The 20th edition of The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival presents two weeks of premium character comedy, musical comedy, clown, drag and sketch comedy at venues throughout the city,” shares the festival.

The three venues that will host the comedy shows are:

Besides the lineup of shows, there are opportunities to learn more about comedy through a variety of workshops. The Learning + Fun Series are “skill-building workshops and community building panels”, packed with informative professional development opportunities, perfect for emerging comedians!

General admission tickets to individual shows start at $25 per person. For the ultimate comedy-lovers, there’s a festival pass you can purchase which includes access to every show and workshop for $159.
