Toronto neighbourhood throwing an epic free one-day street festival this summer

18 July 20252 Mins Read

Come hungry and ready to immerse yourself in some Toronto culture with this one-day festival, just around the corner. The Koreatown Street Festival is returning for one day only on Saturday, July 26, and it’s going to be jam-packed with good vibes.

Taking over Bloor Street from Crawford and Markham, aka the heart of Koreatown, head down to the festival from 1 to 9 p.m. and dive deep into Korean culture, all for free!

Live K-pop and traditional Korean tunes will have you grooving all day long, while family-fun programming like crafts, colouring, and games will be available all day long.

Of course, when you’re talking about Korean culture, you can’t skip the food. The Koreatown Street Festival will have a variety of treats to snack on like tteokbokki, Korean BBQ, hot dogs, and more — don’t forget to grab a thirst-quenching bubble tea to beat the July heat.

Handmade goods and artisan finds will also be available to shop at a variety of booths, including works from Tibetan Paper & Handicraft and hand-sewn pieces from The Neon Needle.

Perhaps the most exciting feature of the festival will be an appearance from Koko the Tiger, Koreatown’s official mascot. Snap a photo with Koko and grab all nine of the festival’s limited-edition Koko stickers!

For even more Koko-filled fun, use the Koko Stamp Map Program to redeem exclusive offers at participating businesses, available only on the festival day.

Presented by the Koreatown BIA, this is your chance to experience authentic and fun Korean culture, plus it’s free! Summer in Toronto is all about street fests, and we are sure you don’t want to miss out on Koreatown.
