So, Tim Hortons might be best known for its Timbits and Double-Doubles, but one North York location has gone full Hogwarts, transforming the iconic red-and-brown coffee shop into a wizarding world for a limited time.
The transformation is part of Tim Hortons’ new Harry Potter collab celebrating Back to Hogwarts and the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film. The restaurant’s exterior has been completely transformed with an elaborate Harry Potter x Tim Hortons design inspired by the collaboration’s limited-edition packaging, which is full of Easter eggs and hidden references for Harry Potter fans to spot.
Once inside, you’ll find installations inspired by some of the most recognizable locations and moments from the Harry Potter films.
There’s a recreation of Platform 9¾, so you can pose as though you’re about to hop aboard the Hogwarts Express, as well as a display inspired by the Hogwarts Great Hall. You can also pose for a pic at a Sorting Hat-themed photo experience!
The collab also comes with a whole lineup of Harry Potter-themed treats that are available at participating locations across Canada. Choose from four Hogwarts House Donuts: Gryffindor Strawberry Cheesecake, Slytherin Chocolate Pistachio, Ravenclaw Blueberry and Hufflepuff Lemon Meringue. There are also Golden Snitch Caramel Timbits, which can be ordered in a limited-edition Golden Snitch Timbits holder.
You can even summon a Patronus with your drink (well, sort of). Patronus Sparkling Quenchers and Forbidden Forest Iced Tea Quenchers come in special temperature-activated cups that reveal a trail of Patronuses when filled with a cold drink.
Fans are all for it. “This is definitely the most ICONIC thing you’ve ever done!” one user said under the Insta announcement, while others agreed that this is “The most magical collab!!!!!”
