Avianca has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Lima, Peru down to $361 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Actually, that’s not quite true. Avianca doesn’t include any carry-on luggage in their base fares which allows their prices to appear significantly cheaper than they really are in major search engines. You’ll often find bottom-feeders conveniently overlooking this fact.
You need to add around $106 CAD roundtrip to their prices for a more realistic comparison against other airlines.
For a true comparison against other airlines, Avianca’s flights to Peru have dropped down to $467 CAD roundtrip.
The flights have one stop in Bogota each way.
You can also find flights from Toronto to Guayaquil, Ecuador (gateway to the Galapagos Islands) for about $20 more.
