British Airways has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Lisbon, Portugal down to between $387 and $487 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in London (Heathrow) or Philadelphia each way.
You can also turn these into a 2-in-1 Multi City trip and visit both London *and* Lisbon for a similar roundtrip price (keep scrolling down for more info).
Just a heads up that entry to the United Kingdom now requires a Canadian to have an eTA, which costs 16 pounds and is valid for 2 years. BUT if you are just in transit (connecting) through the United Kingdom you do not need an ETA.
UPDATE: January (and a few February) dates are available for $387 to $415 roundtrip. Late November and December dates are available for $413 to $466 roundtrip. April and May dates are available for $453 roundtrip.

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with the following Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Toronto to Lisbon, Portugal
[Winter]
Google Flights: Toronto to Lisbon, Portugal
[Spring]

[Iberia]
– Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
– Browse for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
– Look for the dates that are $387-$487 roundtrip.
IMPORTANT: When you’re clicking through on Google Flights, and you get to the last page and suddenly see the price jump up to $806, *in some cases* you may need to keep scrolling down to the ‘Book with American’ button below. You should see a price like $459 or $472 beside the button.
I’ve also been noticing a lot of price jumps with these flights. Google Flights will sometimes show $472 at first, but then the price jumps up to $661 on the following pages and you can’t find it for $472 no matter what you do. It’s best to try different dates with some trial and error. Or you may want to try those dates on the search engines below as the results can be different.
(NOTE: It’s fairly likely British Airways will release some more cheap ones from time to time. At least, that’s what happened last time. I will keep this post updated with any new dates I’ve seen).
2. Go to FlightHub or Kayak or Skyscanner
– Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.

1. Start with the following Google Flights Multi City search:
Google Flights: Toronto to London and then to Lisbon and then back to Toronto
Toronto (YYZ) to London (LHR)
London (LHR) to Lisbon (LIS)
Lisbon (LIS) to Toronto (YYZ)
2. Try using dates that are similar to the roundtrip dates you found on Google Flights above.
For example, if you found a cheap roundtrip flight from November 7 to November 19, try starting with…
November 7 to November 9 to November 19
You may need to keep the London and Lisbon flights within 2 days of each other for the price to remain low.
