Toronto’s getting a live Toy Story concert experience this year

11 March 20252 Mins Read

Toy Story is coming to life this year, making its Canadian concert debut in honour of its 30th anniversary. Toronto will experience the live concert series for two nights only. Here’s what to know.

Mark your calendars! Toy Story in Concert hits the stage on Nov. 21 and 22, 2025.

What should I expect?

TO Live, a city-led initiative and cultural leader, brings the experience to the city at Meridian Hall. The animated classic will hit the big screen alongside a live orchestra performing composer Randy Newman’s hits, note for note.

The live experience will feature the FILMharmonique Orchestra, Canada’s premier orchestra dedicated to film concerts. It’ll run for an hour and 45 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission.

Iconic movie 30 years later

Can you believe it’s already been 30 years since the movie was first released? It was the first-ever computer-animated feature, making major movie history.

Three decades later, its iconic songs like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “Strange Things,” and “I Will Go Sailing No More” remain just as unforgettable as the day they first captivated audiences.

This is also the perfect way to celebrate the anticipated Toy Story 5 before it debuts next year.

As previously mentioned, there are only two shows in Toronto – Nov. 21, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 22, 2025, at 2 p.m.

How much are tickets?

That being said, tickets are limited, so if you want to relive the same joy you felt when you first watched the movie, get yours before they sell out. They start at $25 and can range to $100, plus taxes.

We couldn’t think of a better way to honour the childhood classic film!

Will you be going?
