A new theme park is coming to Toronto, and it’s a world first. Creatives, here’s what to know about the Makers Theme Park, dedicated to hands-on creation and skill-building.
“Less screen time, more real time – come make, create and connect,” shares organizers of the upcoming Makers Theme Park, popping up in Toronto this April.
A space where creativity flows and skill development is embraced, this new theme park is the first of its kind, offering all sorts of workshops to an all-ages crowd.
What to expect at the Makers Theme Park
Forget thrill rides and ticketed games; Makers Theme Park will offer workshops specializing in crafts, building, cooking, art, design, technology, DIY, and more.
“Workshops run throughout the day and are available by pre-booking online, with select drop-in spots available on-site,” says the Makers team. “Guests can explore at their own pace, choosing which workshops to join and how long to spend making.”
This is a great opportunity to meet, learn from, and be inspired by talented creators from all walks of life.
“No experience is needed. Most workshops are beginner-friendly and guided, so anyone can jump in, try something new, and make something themselves,” shares organizers.
Where will the Makers Theme Park be located?
The park will launch at Evergreen Brickworks starting in April 2026 in the form of a pop-up. It will run for four Saturdays before its grand opening in Hamilton at the Lime Ridge Mall in June 2026.
Both experiences are free to enter; workshops and classes will vary in cost.
Keep a lookout for any updates on workshops and classes available at the Makers Theme Park via its social media, closer to its opening.
But like always, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop. Now, it’s time to get excited!
